Ruffled Skort

IMG_7346A couple years ago skorts were huge. I feel like they’ve sort of died out, but I still love them. I really love this one because it really looks like a skirt. I love how girly the ruffles are, and they totally disguise the shorts. I was really tempted to get the pink one, but I love white for summer!

Studded Sandals

imageWhile everyone is getting ready for fall, it’s been warming up in the city. It’s been so nice and I even got to enjoy a beach day this past weekend!  I was excited to see that my favorite sandals were back in stock and I got to pick up the other color (I have them in black as well). These sandals are almost identical to the Valentino sandals but at a much more affordable price. They’re the closest I’ve found and I was a little bummed the first time that I bought the black ones, that they didn’t have my size in stock in the tan color. I would definitely recommend picking these up while they’re in stock if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative to the Valentino’s. Although summer’s almost over, they’d be great for next year. I tend to wear sandals all year though 🙂

Simple Summer

imageSometimes during the summer when it’s hot, it’s just easier to keep it simple and stay cool. These are some of my favorites and great for hot weather. These denim  shorts are perfect and literally go with anything, and I love this tank top because the fit is great, it’s reversible, and it comes in tons of colors and prints.

T-Shirt Dress in Alamo Square

IMG_0494Alamo Square and the Painted Ladies are some of the most iconic places in the city and a great spot to hang out on a nice sunny day.  Another thing that’s great on a sunny day is a t-shirt dress.  I absolutely adore this one because its so simple and the fit is perfect, not too tight and not too loose.  It’s a couple inches longer in the back than in the front which might be great if you’re taller.  I’m short (only 5’1) so I feel like the back is a little bit too long since its about touching the back of my knee.  Paired with my favorite Rebecca Minkoff accessories, this made for the perfect casual but cute look for a sunny day at the park.
