This skort is one of my favorite purchases this summer. I love how the layers really cover the shorts so it looks like a skirt. I think it's really cute and makes it easy to wear.
Stripes and leopard are one of my favorite print combos. I think it looks really fun without being overwhelming. Adding a pink bag just adds a fun pop of color. I’m really loving these long sleeved tops from Gap, one of my only maternity buys. They’re so comfortable, I’m thinking I’ll probably be buying some non maternity too!

While everyone is getting ready for fall, it’s been warming up in the city. It’s been so nice and I even got to enjoy a beach day this past weekend! I was excited to see that my favorite sandals were back in stock and I got to pick up the other color (I have them in black as well). These sandals are almost identical to the Valentino sandals but at a much more affordable price. They’re the closest I’ve found and I was a little bummed the first time that I bought the black ones, that they didn’t have my size in stock in the tan color. I would definitely recommend picking these up while they’re in stock if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative to the Valentino’s. Although summer’s almost over, they’d be great for next year. I tend to wear sandals all year though 🙂

Surprise, surprise, another pink look. I’m sorry, I just cant help it! Rose quartz is everywhere and such a stunning shade. I think I may have to try something out in the co-color of the year, serenity, which is a beautiful cool tranquil blue.
Until then, lets talk about this pretty pink trench coat! Trench coats are a great staple for spring because they’re the perfect weight for when temperatures start warming up but itss still a little chilly out. I absolutely love this one from Topshop because its a classic trench in a modern color. Don’t be afraid to stray from a classic beige trench for a pretty pastel such as blush. I find this color works well with so many other colors since its almost like a neutral shade but gives off a much more modern vibe. I could see a trench in serenity blue working with a wide color palette as well.

I love mixing prints because it’s a little unexpected and it adds some interest to an outfit. Stripes and leopard are some of my favorite prints alone, but together they’re even better! I usually try to keep the colors in mind when mixing prints so that it’s not too overwhelming, but I find that leopard print can usually be used as a neutral and can work with any color. To ground the prints, I paired them with a plain black skort. Some people may be over the skort trend, but I love them! They’re so much fun and can be worn casually or more dressed up since they fool you into thinking its a skirt from the front. I also love them because they remind me of being a kid in the 90’s. I thought skorts were so cool because I didn’t have to worry about wearing shorts under skirts when playing on the playground 🙂 To complete the outfit I used my favorite Kate Spade purse. I love this purse because it’s a really classic and sophisticated shape, but then the bow detail on the front pocket makes it so fun and girly! Hope you enjoy!
