Slouchy Spring Sweater

IMG_0821It’s finally spring!  It’s been raining here lately, but I’m hoping for some warm sunshine soon!  I love a slouchy, effortless sweater, and this one is perfect for spring because it’s lightweight, and the oversized fit is perfect if you like the off the shoulder look like I do.

Moto Joggers

IMG_0769If you haven’t noticed, I’m really loving moto details. I think it’s such a cute detail in the stitching or zippers that adds a little something extra, especially to otherwise plain sweatpants. Dressing up sweatpants with cute accessories is a look that I’ve been loving lately. By pairing them with heels and a cute jacket, it really gives sweats a different look than a sporty look sneakers would take on. What do you think of this “dressy” jogger trend?

What I Wore: All Black Party

img_4075This past weekend I attended a friend’s birthday dinner where we were asked to wear black. This was the perfect excuse for me to wear my favorite LBD. I’ve talked about this dress so many times before, but it’s definitely a staple in my closet, and has been amazing during pregnancy as well. To add a little fun to the outfit without going too bold, I wore my favorite blush pink suede heels.

P.S.  Can you spot the Golden Gate?😉

Sweater Dress

img_0033Today I’m sharing what I wore for my birthday on Tuesday for dinner with my husband. I love this sweater dress, which is non-maternity and paired it with my favorite nude heels. This dress is so comfortable, and since it has ruching on the sides, it makes it perfect for my bump. It also comes in other colors and I would highly recommend it!

Maternity Basics

imageSo far I haven’t bought many new maternity clothes, just two pairs of jeans and two tops. This is mainly because most of my clothes still fit me besides my jeans, but during this pregnancy I would rather stick with basics and add accessories and outerwear that I can wear even after the baby comes.

I love this long sleeve basic tee because it can be paired with anything and can be used to layer.  Wearing a simple tee and jeans leaves all the attention to the accessories. These are some of my favorite shoes, and I love this purse because burgundy is such a great color for fall. I especially love blush and burgundy together!

Topshop Jeans

imageI love the jeans from Topshop not just because of the style, but because I love the fit and they come in a great range of sizes including petite, regular, and tall. Now that I’ve been looking for maternity jeans, I’m so glad Topshop has a maternity range (which also comes in short, regular, and tall sizes) because I can continue to wear the same styles I love. I haven’t needed to buy anything else maternity aside from jeans, but Topshop makes some really cute maternity clothes similar to their regular range, which seems pretty rare.

Ripped Jeans and Heels

imageI’m really into ripped jeans, but sometimes if they’re super distressed it’s hard to make them look nice and not look like a bum. One way I like to make them look a little nicer is by pairing them with some heels. Heels will instantly dress you up a little which I think sometimes really helps to make these kind of jeans work. How do you like to style ripped jeans?
