Black Fringe Scarf and Booties

img_4114In a post from last week I shared one of my favorite fringe scarves. Here I’m wearing it in black. I love these and get so much wear out of them in the fall and winter. I’ve also featured these booties in tan many times. Since I wear them so much and they’re so affordable, I decided it was time to buy them in another color. Both of these pieces are so affordable and versatile, so I highly recommend them!

Black Out

imageI love a monochrome outfit, especially in black. Black always looks chic, and I think black works all year round, even in summer. Monochrome is so easy because you know everything matches, but try to mix some textures like this (faux) leather jacket and cut out in the shorts. Another way to do monochrome is to use different shades of the same color. What do you think of monochrome looks?

Cutout Active Wear

IMG_7459Cutouts have been a fun trend for a while and I especially love them in active wear.  I found these cute pieces at Forever 21, which means they’re affordable even though they look like some of the designs found at more expensive stores like Lululemon.  Forever 21 isn’t known for being great quality, but I have found their active wear really isn’t too bad, especially for the price.  I have another pair of workout pants that I bought years ago that are still going strong after tons of wears and washes.

Versatile LBD

IMG_6540This dress has already been featured in a few of my posts before.  Its one of my favorites because I love how versatile it is.  Here, I decided to pair it with some cute sneakers and tie a denim top around my waist for some added warmth if the temp cools down.  This dress is so perfect because its so stretchy and comfortable, but it also has a nice thick material that looks nice dressed up.  They usually come out with different colors each season.  I also have it in purple and love it!  Do you have a clothing item that’s super versatile in your wardrobe? I’d love to know what it is!

Polka Dots

IMG_2492Lately I’ve been a little bit obsessed with sneakers, and what can be cuter than a pair with polka dots?  I love that the print is pretty subtle so it doesn’t seem to overpowering.

Summer in February

IMG_9920The weather in San Francisco has been so nice lately.  It feels like summer so I was able to bring out some shorts this week.  My favorite part of this outfit is my Nike’s.  These are the most comfortable shoes and I absolutely love the design.  I’ve never seen any sneakers like these and think they’re really cool and unique.  I love the texture and the mix of matte and shiny finishes.

Casual Winter

IMG_6963It was a super rainy day today so I had to hurry and snap some shots between the storms!  On rainy days I just don’t feel like putting a lot of effort into my outfit.  I want to look cute, but I also want to stay warm and dry!

I love faux leather leggings because they’re cute and comfortable, but they’re also really easy to throw on with a lot of different things and are more fun than regular leggings!  Paired with booties and a pretty scarf, its the perfect casual outfit for a day of running errands.
