Versatile LBD

IMG_6540This dress has already been featured in a few of my posts before.  Its one of my favorites because I love how versatile it is.  Here, I decided to pair it with some cute sneakers and tie a denim top around my waist for some added warmth if the temp cools down.  This dress is so perfect because its so stretchy and comfortable, but it also has a nice thick material that looks nice dressed up.  They usually come out with different colors each season.  I also have it in purple and love it!  Do you have a clothing item that’s super versatile in your wardrobe? I’d love to know what it is!

Boyfriend Jeans

IMG_6394I love the look of boyfriend jeans, but its hard to find a pair that doesn’t look too big when you’re petite.  This particular pair have been super popular in the blogging world and I absolutely love how they look, so I decided to give them a try.  I love how they fit since they’re only slightly over-sized (I also when down a size).  Paired with this cute henley top, its the perfect casual outfit!

One Year!

I can’t believe my blog is already a year old!  In honor of it’s first birthday I’d like to share some of my top favorite posts from the past year, as well as talk about my experience so far.

I’ve wanted to start a fashion blog for a few years. I never did it because I was scared. I was scared of what people I know might say. I was scared of mean comments I might get from people I don’t know. I was scared of taking pictures in public because people passing by might think it’s weird.

In this last year not one person has said anything negative to me, I’ve never had one mean comment on the Internet, and not one person has laughed at me while taking hundreds of pictures of my outfits. I didn’t even know if I would have any followers to even care about the content that I post. I’m so happy that I finally took the leap to post my first outfit because that was the hardest one. I’ve enjoyed every minute and I’m so excited to continue to create content. I truly appreciate every sweet comment anyone leaves me on my blog posts and Instagram.  I can’t wait to see where my blog is at in another year from now!

Thank you for following along!

Delicate Lace Shorts

IMG_5764These delicate lace shorts are perfect for spring with the weather warming up.  I paired them with a simple t-shirt because it was warm, but I also think they would be cute styled with a lightweight sweater if it was a little cooler.  These shoes are also so great because they’re simple enough to pair with almost anything and the wedge makes them really comfortable.

Simple Black & Gray

IMG_5282Sometimes simple is best.  I love simple outfits and sometimes I’m in a hurry and just need to get dressed without having to think too much about it.  I love to just throw on a simple tee and jeans, (even in monochrome like this, which makes it even easier!) and add a cute coat or jacket.  In a matter of just a few days the weather here has gone from summer to winter.  I’m just happy I can continue wearing this coat a little longer because it’s one of my favorites!

Pink Spring Trench

IMG_4568Surprise, surprise, another pink look.  I’m sorry, I just cant help it!  Rose quartz is everywhere and such a stunning shade.  I think I may have to try something out in the co-color of the year, serenity, which is a beautiful cool tranquil blue.

Until then, lets talk about this pretty pink trench coat!  Trench coats are a great staple for spring because they’re the perfect weight for when temperatures start warming up but itss still a little chilly out.  I absolutely love this one from Topshop because its a classic trench in a modern color.  Don’t be afraid to stray from a classic beige trench for a pretty pastel such as blush.  I find this color works well with so many other colors since its almost like a neutral shade but gives off a much more modern vibe.  I could see a trench in serenity blue working with a wide color palette as well.
