For Memorial Day weekend I wanted to wear something a little festive with red, white, and blue. Where I live its still pretty cold and this day was particularly windy so I ended up having to change my top later on. Don’t you just hate it when the weather doesn’t want to cooperate with your wardrobe choices? Lol. I just loved how the blue top popped against the white jeans, and I topped them off with my favorite Spring sandals.
Hope you enjoyed the long weekend, and hopefully some sunshine!

Paris is my most favorite place in the entire world. I’ve been twice and I just feel like its such a magical city. Its so beautiful everywhere you look, no matter the weather. I say a rainy day in Paris is better than a sunny day anywhere else! Since I have such a deep love for Paris, I’m a sucker for anything that reminds me of it, so I had to pick up this cute tee when I saw it in H&M. In particular, this reminds me of my first trip to Paris when I splurged on a bottle of Chanel No.5 perfume from the original Chanel store on the Rue Cambon, which makes me love it even more.
I love wearing jeans and a tee a lot of times because its so easy and casual, but pairing them with some cute heels just makes it a little more fun. I love these heels that I’m wearing because the lace up detail gives the outfit a little edge. Since they’re not too high, they’re pretty comfortable and great for wearing during the day.
These are my go-to jeans because I love the color and the fit. If you’re a shortie like me (I’m only 5’1″), you know how hard it is to find jeans that are the right length. Most of the time I end up having to hem them, but these ones from Rich and Skinny Jeans are actually a cropped style and fit me in length perfectly.
Hope you enjoy!

I love mixing prints because it’s a little unexpected and it adds some interest to an outfit. Stripes and leopard are some of my favorite prints alone, but together they’re even better! I usually try to keep the colors in mind when mixing prints so that it’s not too overwhelming, but I find that leopard print can usually be used as a neutral and can work with any color. To ground the prints, I paired them with a plain black skort. Some people may be over the skort trend, but I love them! They’re so much fun and can be worn casually or more dressed up since they fool you into thinking its a skirt from the front. I also love them because they remind me of being a kid in the 90’s. I thought skorts were so cool because I didn’t have to worry about wearing shorts under skirts when playing on the playground 🙂 To complete the outfit I used my favorite Kate Spade purse. I love this purse because it’s a really classic and sophisticated shape, but then the bow detail on the front pocket makes it so fun and girly! Hope you enjoy!

Yesterday was such a gloomy day, but this pink shirt really helped to brighten it up! It’s such a fun color and I really love the cut-out detail on the shoulders. It really popped against all the neutrals and I liked how the gold accents complemented the color. I love white jeans for the Spring. They just look so fresh and can be paired with any color, but I especially love them with brights and neons! These sandals reminded me so much of the Kate Spade sandals in a similar style, that I just had to get them when I saw them at Target for a fraction of the price! Target is always my favorite place to shop for sandals. They always come out with such cute styles and are great if you
